Pass the Nevada written permit exam

Head to the DMV and take the 50 question multiple-choice knowledge exam. All of these questions are based on the Nevada DMV driver's handbook, so you'll want to be sure to pick one up to study. Once you pass the exam and fill out some forms with your parents, you'll be granted your instruction permit. Score!

Complete in-car practice

Practice makes perfect! The state of Nevada requires you to hold your instruction permit for at least 6 months and have 50 hours of behind-the-wheel practice (10 of those hours need to be at night). You can practice with any licensed driver 21 years or older, who has held a license for at least a year. You've got this!

Now that you've completed your Aceable driving course, held your permit for 6 months and completed your 50 hours of behind-the-wheel practice, it's time to Ace your driving test! Don't forget to bring the certificate of completion we send you upon course completion, your driving record and your instruction permit to the DMV at the time of your test.
